TypeFast: Typing Test (“the Application”) is developed and maintained by Conversantech (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Application, you agree to this Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Application.

Privacy Policy

1. Overview

TypeFast: Typing Test is a typing practice and typing speed test application designed to help users improve typing speed, accuracy, WPM, keyboard practice, and typing consistency.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Application, including local typing data, advertisements, permissions, third-party services, and user responsibility.

Your typed test content, typing speed, accuracy results, and practice history are not uploaded to Conversantech servers during normal app use.

Conversantech does not upload, transmit, synchronize, or store your local typing history on servers operated by Conversantech.

If you clear app data, reset progress, or uninstall the Application, locally stored test history, statistics, and settings may be permanently deleted. Conversantech cannot recover deleted local data because it is not stored on our servers.

The Application does not provide automatic cloud synchronization of typing history, test results, statistics, or user settings.

If cloud sync, account login, backup, or online profile features are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

The Application does not intentionally perform session recording, screen recording, or device fingerprinting by Conversantech.

However, third-party services such as Google Mobile Ads may collect limited technical, diagnostic, usage, and advertising-related information according to their own policies.

The Application may allow users to share typing results through third-party platforms, apps, or services selected by the user.

Conversantech is not responsible for the privacy practices, terms, content, security, or availability of third-party platforms.

When you share typing results outside the Application, you are responsible for the information you choose to share.

We do not sell support emails or contact messages.

Conversantech does not sell personal information collected through the Application.

The Application may include third-party SDKs such as Google Mobile Ads, which may collect and share data according to their own policies for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and compliance.

Depending on your device, operating system, and app version, the Application may use permissions such as:

These permissions are used to support app functionality, advertisements, and network availability checks. The Application does not use these permissions to collect your name, phone number, contacts, photos, or personal files.

Users may delete typing history, progress, statistics, and settings from within the Application where such options are available.

Users may also clear the Application’s data through device settings or uninstall the Application.

Please note that clearing app data or uninstalling the Application may permanently delete locally stored data, including typing history, WPM results, accuracy results, progress statistics, and settings. Conversantech cannot restore deleted local data because it is not stored on our servers.

15. Data Security

We use reasonable security practices to help protect locally stored information and design the Application in a privacy-conscious manner.

However, no method of device storage, app operation, network transmission, or electronic storage is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, operating system, screen lock, app data, and any information you choose to share outside the Application.

16. Children’s Privacy and Target Audience

The Application is intended for users aged 13 and above.

The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Use by minors should be supervised by a parent or legal guardian.

Typing speed, WPM, accuracy, keystroke tracking, progress statistics, and test results may vary depending on device capability, screen responsiveness, keyboard type, input method, operating system version, app performance, user behavior, test configuration, and network or device conditions.

Typing results are provided for practice and general self-improvement purposes only. Conversantech does not guarantee that typing results are perfectly accurate, professionally certified, or suitable for official testing, employment evaluation, examination, or institutional assessment.

7. Third-Party Services and Advertising

The Application may use third-party services and display advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks. These services may collect and process data according to their own privacy policies and terms.

Conversantech is not responsible for third-party advertisement content, products or services promoted through ads, external websites opened from ads, privacy practices of third-party services, claims made by advertisers, or transactions or interactions between users and advertisers.

Conversantech reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, remove, or discontinue any Application feature at any time without prior notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Conversantech, its owners, employees, developers, affiliates, partners, and contractors will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or other damages resulting from use of or inability to use the Application, data loss, app crashes, third-party services, inaccurate results, or user actions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Conversantech is not responsible for loss of locally stored typing results, progress history, settings, preferences, or app data caused by device failure, OS crashes or updates, app uninstallation, clearing app data, user actions, device reset, storage issues, or app bugs.

Users should not rely on the Application as the only place to store important information.

11. Children’s Use

The Application is intended for users aged 13 and above. It is not intended for children under the age of 13. Use by minors should be supervised by a parent or legal guardian.

12. Health, Safety, and Screen Use Disclaimer

The Application is a typing practice and typing test tool. Users are responsible for using the Application sensibly and taking breaks as needed.

Conversantech is not responsible for discomfort, fatigue, eye strain, hand strain, repetitive typing discomfort, distraction, or other effects that may arise from prolonged device or keyboard use.

If you experience discomfort while using the Application, stop using it and take appropriate rest.
